Our Forte: Addressing faulty religiosity through proper exegetical contextual application, and balanced spiritual formation.
Religiosity
Excessively or sentimentally religious; regarded as excessively, sentimentally, or affectively pious; of "piety" or "the state of being ultra-religious," to the extent or degree of possibly engendering neurosis.
Exegesis
Relating to the study and interpretation of texts, especially religious writings; intended to explain or interpret something, especially a written text, within it's cultural, historical, physical, and rhetorical context.
Eisegesis
An interpretation, especially of Scripture, that expresses the interpreter's own ideas, bias, or the like, rather than the meaning of the text. Placing application prematurely over contextual analysis.
